Ed took a serious interest in photography in the late 1950's while living in North Africa. While his actual persuit of photography varied over the years due to life's other demands, his interest always remained high. Having retired from a career in civil engineering he now has the luxury of devoting significant time to finding and capturing interesting and meaningful images.
Although his darkroom has given way to a computer room and his camera no longer uses film, his photographic interest continues to be in capturing images of our world. The Earth's beauty, majesty and awesome power are the subjects he enjoys most. He is committed to the concept that we are the stewards of our planet and are responsible for preserving it for our children and generations of children to come. He also finds great pleasure in photographing mankind's greatest accomplishments and the many facets of its varied cultures.
Explore Ed's many photo albums and join him in a virtual journey through many of America's National Parks, down quite village lanes in Italy or climb the Great Wall in China - all from the comfort of your home. Hopefully you will depart with a increased sense of how wonderful our world is, and join him as a steward of our Blue Orb.
